WYBOT F1 Pool Skimmer Solar Powered Robotic Cleaner

The WYBOT F1 is a solar-powered robotic pool skimmer that floats on the surface and continuously clears floating debris before it sinks. Powered by a 33 watt solar panel, it can run throughout the day, capturing leaves, bugs, pollen, hair, and twigs, so your floor cleaner and filter have less to handle.

It offers two modes: Smart Mode runs for 24 hours on a 10-minute work and 10-minute rest cycle, and Standard Mode runs continuously for 8 hours. Dual brushless motors drive it along a V-shaped path, ultrasonic radar sensors detect and avoid obstacles, and its EdgeMaster behavior sends it to the wall to enhance cleaning along the edges, where floating debris collects.

A 7 liter basket, about 30 percent larger than typical skimmers, holds a large amount of debris, and a 180 micron filter captures fine particles. An anti-backflow baffle keeps collected debris from re-entering the pool, anti-stranding posts protect it in shallow water, and anti-UV materials and salt-tolerant motors stand up to sun and chlorine. It pairs with WYBOT’s cordless cleaners for full floor and surface coverage.

The F1 suits pools that collect floating debris, especially those near trees that drop leaves, pollen, and seeds. By clearing the surface continuously on solar power, it reduces what settles to the floor and eases the load on your filter and pump. Because it is solar powered, it can stay in the pool and work through the day with little attention.

It works in above-ground and in-ground pools of all shapes. As a surface skimmer, it cleans the surface only, so it pairs well with a WYBOT cordless floor cleaner such as the C2 or A1 for complete coverage. Note that solar charging works while the unit is floating in the pool; a DC charger for faster or indoor charging is sold separately.

1. Charge before first use: Fully charge the F1 before the first run. Place it in the pool in direct sunlight to charge by solar, or use the optional DC charger (sold separately). Make sure the charging port is dry before connecting the DC charger.
2. Install the app and pair: Download the WYBOT app and connect the skimmer over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, following the in-app steps.
3. Place it on the water: Set the F1 on the pool surface and start a cleaning cycle.
4. Choose a mode: Select Smart Mode for all-day work-and-rest cleaning, or Standard Mode for 8 hours of continuous cleaning.
5. Empty the basket: When the 7 liter basket fills, lift the unit out, remove and rinse the basket and filter, and return it to the water.
6. Retrieve it: Use one-touch docking in the app to bring it to the edge when needed.
